Valorant Warmup Drills Pros Use Before Ranked

Stop freezing in first fight. These warmup categories get your mechanics hot before you touch ranked.

Valorant warmup drills and routine pros use before ranked

Warmups win RR before the queue starts

Your first two ranked fights often decide whether a session tilts. Pros arrive sharp from the Range and custom aim maps — another 40 Unrated stomps is a worse warmup than 20 focused minutes.

Find current practice tools through Valorant.com. We list durable categories because brittle workshop codes die every Act update.

25-minute routine and ten drill categories

0–8 min aim tracker. 8–15 min peek map or Crosshair placement. 15–22 min realistic fight / site clear / retake. 22–25 min reset, then ranked.

Categories: pure aim tracker, shotgun scenarios, mid-range Vandal tracking, ability lineups, Competitive cover peeks, realistic 1v1s, retake drills, reload/swap timing, movement tech, scrim-style multi-fight maps.

Competitive mains should replace aim trainers with swing-peek drills from our aggression guide.

Mistakes that waste warmup time

Only melting easy bots, ignoring mid-range, warming up 90 minutes then playing two tilted games, and changing binds mid-warmup all waste RR.

After mechanics are hot, information tools like radar hack or ESP are optional overlays — they do not replace a cold close-range timing. For the full stack overview, see Valorant hacks.
